· All workers and suppliers must be treated fairly, safely, and legally.
👥 Who is Covered?
· This policy applies to everyone working with us:
Staff • Volunteers • Students • Families • Consultants • Trustees/Board members
• Third-party partners such as Health and Social Care • Tameside Council
✅ Your Responsibilities
· Do not take part in or ignore activities that breach this policy.
Report immediately if you suspect modern slavery to Liz Wright – CEO & Anti-Slavery Officer or the Board of Trustees
· Raise concerns early, even if unsure.
· Sign to confirm you’ve read and understood this policy.
📢 Reporting & Protection
· All reports are taken seriously and investigated quickly.
· You are protected from unfair treatment if you raise concerns in good faith.
· If you feel treated unfairly after speaking up:
Tell one of the management team or your supervisor
· Use the Grievance Procedure (see Staff Handbook) if not resolved.
🤝 Suppliers & Partners
· Must confirm they do not use slavery, forced labour, child labour, or trafficking.
· Contracts will be ended immediately if breached.
