We are looking for a vibrant, energetic, and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated team, supporting younger adults with learning disabilities living in Tameside to lead active, full and independent lives. Do you have the skills and understanding to support our members to speak up for themselves, have their voice heard, promote independence and self-confidence and support people to follow their dreams, wishes and life aspirations? If so, we want to hear from you.
The post includes organising & running microteach sessions, advocacy groups, 1-1 and group activities at our base and in the community. You will support vulnerable people to exercise their rights and ensure they are fully involved in the planning and delivery of their support services.
We use a minibus for some activities; therefore a clean driving licence (minimum of 2 years) is required.
Post subject to enhanced DBS check and referencing (Free).
Plus Relief Support Worker posts are also available with flexible working.
